Open Photoshoot and public days

One or two open photo shoot and public days are organized every month. The dates will be announced on this website and our social media. During these days, the building is almost completely accessible and photographing and filming is allowed

Neither the public areas nor the toilets may be used as changing room. Therefor contact us to rent a meeting room.

If you like to make your photos available afterwards, you can always forward them to info@thorcentral.be. We then post them on our social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linked-In, etc.) stating your name and the correct copyright.

Would you like to shoot wedding photos in Thor Central? This is only possible on open photo shoot days.
Thor Park is a public park and is accessible at any time.

Experience tour

During our Open Photoshoot and public days you can go on a Experience Tour through Thor Central. 

Thor Central formerly served as the main building of the Waterschei mine site. Today the building has been renovated, without compromising the majestic and impressive character of the former mining site.
With the experience tour you discover the best facts about the building, the site & the daily life of Waterschei mine on your own, using the QR codes on the information boards. So be sure to bring your smartphone!
